HKSTP - Lenovo - HKCLR Co-incubation Training: Robotics and AI

24 OCTOBER 2023 (TUE)

To promote the most cutting-edge technological advancement and prepare young academics and entrepreneurs for the future world of robotics and AI, HKSTP is joining hands with Lenovo and HKCLR to present the HKSTP - Lenovo - HKCLR Co-incubation Training: Robotics and AI on 24 October 2023.

As the new frontier in technology, metaverse is considered as a revolution that is poised to reshape human experiences. In this training course, we have invited Prof. Li Wen Jung, Chair Professor from Department of Mechanical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, to take us on a journey to explore the innovative applications of AI-powered e-skin sensors to enhance the human interaction experience with the metaverse. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of this emerging technology and its implications for the future immersive experiences in the metaverse.

Evolving the autonomy and intelligence level of robotics is a timeless pursuit of the academia and an urgent demand from modern industries. Prof. Chen Fei, Assistant Professor from Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering of The Chinese University of Hong Kong will tap into the most recent research achievements his team has made on collaborative human-like mobile manipulation robots, and bring you a close look on how the various setup of autonomous mobile manipulator is capable in coping with different challenging scenarios in the real world.
